The Art of Stamp Making

Ce cours initie à l’art de la fabrication de poinçons et du poinçonnage, en guidant les participants dans la création de leurs propres poinçons personnalisés. Les étudiants apprendront à concevoir, tailler et tremper leurs outils selon des techniques traditionnelles. Le cours explore également différentes méthodes de poinçonnage sur métal, allant des impressions simples aux motifs complexes. Chaque participant pratiquera l’utilisation de ses poinçons pour créer textures et motifs uniques.Nous terminerons l'atelier avec la fabrication d'un bracelet poinçonné.À la fin du stage, chacun repartira avec des poinçons et une meilleur comprehension de comment les utilisés.

This course introduces the art of stamp making and stamping, guiding participants through the creation of their own personalized steel stamps. Students will learn how to design, cut, and harden stamps using traditional techniques and tools. The class also explores different stamping methods on metal, from simple impressions to complex patterns. Each participant will practice applying their stamps to create unique textures and motifs. We will end the workshop by stamping a small bracelet. Students will leave with custom tools and a deeper understanding on how to use them in beautiful pieces of jewellery.
